LOUISA MAYBURY JEWELLERY WORKSHOP
17 .11.18 , 6.30 - 8.30 pm
Louisa Maybury hosts an intimate evening workshop on jewellery making using exquisite semi-precious stones. Join us and create your own bespoke necklaces and earrings, choosing from beautiful elements including rock crystal, rose quartz, pearls, amethyst, lapis and turquoise. Depending on your designs, you get to take home one or two necklaces and two pairs of earrings. The evening includes prosecco and nibbles. Cost: £75
FESTIVE WREATH WORKSHOP

On Friday, 7th December, LA-EVA will be hosting another inspiring workshop by Posy, whose floral creations using seasonal British foliage have become a regular feature in our studio space. This festive session will involve learning to make a traditional moss based wreath and step by step demonstration of how to use both dried and fresh foraged finds to adorn it. Materials and festive refreshments are included in this intimate creative workshop. Cost: £45
LA-EVA OPEN STUDIO in collaboration with ISHKAR - TAMAY & ME - PICO - THE BASKET ROOM

On Sunday, 9th December, we are honoured to be joined by ethical, pioneering brands ISHKAR, Tamay & Me, Pico and The Basket Room for a gentle shopping experience to meet your Christmas gifting needs. ISHKAR is a social enterprise which designs and sources craftmanship from countries at war. Products on sale will range from precious jewellery, handblown glass and ceramics from Afghanistan, through to handwoven throws, unique silk jackets and pietra marble centre pieces. Tamay & me will be showcasing their unique, handmade, versatile, unisex jackets, made using a zero waste pattern and based on traditional Red Dzao designs from Taphin village in North Vietnam, where the cotton and indigo are grown and the cloth is spun, woven and dried. Pico produces the softest of essential, everyday goods including underwear and towels, each with their own traceable story and made in a small fairtrade factory in Southern India. The Basket Room creates beautiful collections of handwoven, decorative storage baskets for the home, woven with stunning colours & unique patterns by small craft collectives in Africa. Join us to meet the founders of these extraordinary brands and buy wares for beautiful, ethical, thoughtful gifting this season.
CUCKOO LANE ARTISANS OPEN EVENING
The creative community of Cuckoo Lane Artisans within which our studio life is embedded is throwing open doors on Friday, 14th December. Peruse the work of local professional artists and makers and discover the complementary co-existance of jewellery made from precious materials and stones, evocative paintings, bespoke couture and corsetry, and, of course, organic beauty. Gentle festive shopping against the rustic backdrop of our precious sawmill courtyard and with a cup of mulled wine in hand.
